For a delightful and relaxing stay, La Serena offers a choice of guest suites and rooms, all individually designed for your comfort. The 6 bedrooms can sleep up to 12 people.
La Serena has been thoughtfully designed by it’s owners to give you a comfortable and luxurious ‘home from home’. There are two beautiful guest rooms and four larger, stunning guest suites – each with their own colour scheme and private balcony or terrace. All rooms and suites have luxury en-suite bath/shower room facilities. The four guest suites also include a comfortable seating area with coffee table, ceiling fans and larger balconies or terrace.
All rooms are finished to a very high standard and include;
- hairdryers
- bathroom towels, bathrobes and swimming towels
- mirrors
- complimentary soap, shower gel and shampoo
A cot or extra bed can be provided in the large guest suites by prior arrangement to enable up to 18 people to be accommodated. Most rooms are available as double or twin rooms.
The Ortensia (Hydrangea) suite reflects the soft blues and pinks of the plant after which the room is named. Facing south, the large balcony has fabulous views accross the valley to distant hills. The suite has a comfortable seating area with italian leather chairs for those relaxing moments.
The large en-suite is equipped with a bath and a shower plus bidet, wc and washbasin.
The Giaggiola ( Iris ) suite is adjacent to the Ortensia suite and mirrors the stronger blue of the Iris flower. The large balcony looks south over the front garden of La Serena and the room also has a seating area with comfortable chairs.

The Ciliegia ( Cherry ) suite is located on the ground floor and has it’s own terrace looking south. It is our largest room and is ideal for a family. It contains one large double bed and two single beds. It is decorated in soft pinks and cherry reds.
The Ciliegia Suite is also ideal for guests who prefer ground-floor accommodation and is adapted for use by people who need accessible accommodation.
The large en-suite is equipped as a shower wet room and has a bidet, toilet and 2 sinks, to avoid those morning queues.
The Girasole (Sunflower) room is decorated, not surprisingly, in warm and fresh yellows. It is the first room that was decorated and it overlooks the swimming pool. The room is north facing and the balcony has views overlooking the countryside towards Perugia and up to our neighbours in Castello Monticelli.
The En-Suite has a large shower, bidet, toilet and washbasin.
The Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise) room reflects the warm orange colours of the flower. It faces west and you can sit on the balcony with a glass of local wine and view the fabulous Italian sunsets.

Rosa
The Rosa (Rose) suite is in fact an apartment with 55m², decorated in warm red colours. It is located on the first floor and has an eastwards looking balcony, its own bathroom with 2 sinks and a mini-kitchenette.
The bed is separated by a curtain, further enhancing the feeling of an independent apartment.
